Club History

The club was founded in September 2006 by Julia Clarke, Anthony Wakenshaw and Tabitha Tallerine who had all been trampolining and coaching in the area for many years. They felt more people could benefit from the enjoyment the sport provides and wanted to offer the opportunity to enter competitions, have fun, train as coaches and judges, socialise and get better facilities as part of a club.

In August 2007 the club was successful in achieving an 'Awards for All' bid to buy new equipment and to fund training for coaches. In 2008 we introduced half term academy days and in 2009 we held our first STC club competition and ran a summer school. This year we have acheived Gym Mark status and competed in regional DMT competition for the first time - see our competitions page for how we got on.
