Regional Schools Competition Success : December 2011
Congratulations to all those who took part in the Regional Schools Trampolining competition in Birmingham on 3 December. Full results will be available soon for all those who took part. Special congratulations to Stacey Blakeway who came third in the elite under 15 girls class and qualified to the Zonal competition on Saturday 14 January 2012 at the Sports Village Shrewsbury.

On 13 October 2011 several of our members also took part in the Shropshire Schools competition in Telford. Unfortunately the results are not yet posted on the Shropshire Schools Association web page for this match.
February Competition
Congratulations to all our members who competed on Saturday 4th Feb. Results will be on the website as soon as they are available. Great big thanks to our volunteers and more experienced competitors for helping out so much and making it a great day for all.
West Midlands October Competitions 2011
Another good month for our competitors in a very busy October.
On 2 October the club members who are part of the West Midlands development Squad for DMT were part of the West Midlands Squad match with London. West Midlands won the day and the development DMT squad won their particular match. Severn Trampoline members were Caity Higgins (1st), Sky Mileto (3rd), Sian Jones (6th), Stacey Blakeway (7th) and Jemma Lutwyche (14th) and team first - a fantastic day out for our first venture with the West Midlands squad.
On 13 October several of our members also took part in the Shropshire Schools competition in Telford. Unfortunately the results are not yet posted on the Shropshire Schools Association web page for this match.
On 15 October we went to the West Midlands regional Grades I to E in Birmingham and had some good results.
- E over 15 girls Stacey Blakeway 5th
- F under 15 girls Anna Horlock & Jemma Lutwyche 1st & 2nd and qualified to Grade E
- G under 15 girls Sian Jones 13th
- H under 11 girls Tilly Prytherch & Lowri Page 12th & 15th
- H 11 plus girls Daniella Williams 11th
- I under 11 girls Annabelle Sheddon & Charley Hughes 11th & 31st
- I over 11 girls Jodie Davies 2nd
On 16 October we went to the Grade D and DMT competition also in Shenley.
- Sky Mileto was 6th on her first outing in Grade D trampoline
In the DMT competition we did very well
- E under 15 girls : team first
- Anna Horlock 1st, Jemma Lutwyche 2nd, Sian Jones 3rd
- E over 15 girls, Stacey Blakeway 1st
- D over 15 girls, Sky Mileto 1st and qualified to National C competitions.

West Midlands Assessment Day and Regional Qualifier : March 2011
We had a super weekend with some lovely results from the Assessment Day at Shenley and the Regional D competition here at the Sports Village in Shrewsbury. We had five new competitors for the Assessment Day in Shenley, well done to Lewis, Patrick, Karis, Tilly and Katie for getting up on those trampolines and showing their routines for the club. Congratulations to all our competitors on the day with a special mention to Jemma for qualifying to Grade F and to Lewis for securing second place at his first competition. The Regional D competition had a reduced entry with Amy injured, Sky competing gymnastics, Caity focussing on trampoline so pulling out of DMT and Jemma not supposed to be there. The results for the day are fantastic: Caity was first in the over 15 girls trampoline and qualified to National C competitions and Stacey, Anna and Eleanor swept the board at regional E DMT with 1st, 2nd & 3rd respectively and a team 1st.
Overall we another very successful weekend:
- Our largest number of new competitors.
- Caity qualified to National C, Jemma qualified to Regional F.
- Top 3 places and team first at DMT.
Well done to everyone involved with a special mention for Amy for looking after everyone so well on the Saturday.
If anyone is interested in taking part in competitions (future competition dates are at the bottom of this page) please talk to the coaches at the sessions. Our next squad training day will be notified on the website, the notice board, twitter and by e-mail. These are great training days for competitors and an opportunity for people who are not sure whether they want to compete to just see what the process is like.

West Midlands Regional Competitions : January 2011
Many congratulations to our team of competitors who were out again the weekend after the christmas break representing Severn T C on the 8th and 9th of January 2011. The assessment for grades I to E was on the Saturday. Both Sky and Stacey were stepping up to new grades and an older age group. Sky came second in grade F over 15 girls and qualified to grade E. Stacey came 5th in grade E over 15 girls. Anna had qualified to grade G at the last competition and did really well with 13th in grade G under 15 girls. Jemma in the same group as Anna unfortunately continued her run of attracting too much attention from chair of panel having the end of her second routine disallowed on a technicality.
Sunday had the grade D trampoline with the grades E and D double mini tramp(DMT). Caity came third in her first outing at regional D trampolining with a great score. In regional E DMT Sky was first and Stacey third and in regional D Caity was second and Amy third. Well done for a great show in DMT.
